Are we insured?

We hold pet sitters’ insurance and are DBS checked, and documents will be shown to you at the meet & greet.

When do we visit?

Morning feeds are usually between 6 am and 10 am Afternoon feeds tend to be between 4 pm and 8 pm Times may be longer during busier periods.

What if there isn't enough food & litter?

We ask that you provide enough food and litter for the duration of the cat sitting. If we have to source items, we will purchase them. This will be invoiced to you on your return home.

What if my cat needs the vet?

Rest assured, if your cat becomes ill or has an accident while in our care, we will contact you immediately. If you decide that a visit to the vet is necessary, we will wait for details of the appointment. In the event of an emergency and we cannot reach you, we will take the cat to your vet or an emergency vet. An initial fee of £20 will apply, with a further charge of £10 per hour afterwards. All veterinary fees are between you and the vet, and we are not responsible for covering these costs.

Key

When we meet with you initially, this is a good opportunity to have a key ready for future visits. If this isn't possible, you are welcome to drop the key off to me closer to the time of the visits. If you prefer me to collect and return the key to you, there is a charge of £5 each time. If you are regularly away, you might want us to hold on to your key. For your peace of mind, it will be stored in a secure keysafe.

Behavioural Issues

At the initial meeting, please inform us of any behavioural issues to watch for. If we believe it is too demanding, we will let you know. If anything occurs that causes your cat to become distressed between the initial meeting and your departure, please inform us.

Do we look after any other animals?

We are happy to feed your fish as part of the cat visit. If you have a small animal that also needs feeding, please ask and we will try to help where we can. Please note that an extra fee may be charged for this service.
